Dear SAMFA parents/guardians,

SAMFA is looking for a concession manager to run the concessions that we provide at our minor football games in Riel Park. SAMFA has all the equipment required and has asked for parent volunteers to help run the concession during games. The manager would ensure that all supplies are there and would be present for guidance and support. SAMFA executive would also support the manager. We have listed the duties below. An honorarium of $1000.00 would be given to the successful applicant. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. If you are interested, please e-mail us. The deadline for applicants is August 14th, 2010.

1) Liaison with Team Managers from Atoms, Peewees & Bantams for concession volunteers.

2) Coordinate the flow of volunteers on the days where Riel Field will require a concession.

3) Create/Set up a Schedule for all times and days that a concession will be held to include names & phone numbers of volunteers. Back-ups to be available just in case.

4) Maintain a confirmation list of who has completed/not completed their volunteer times. Require name, phone number, time (total time if available) task done, and what done.

5) Complete a food handler's course. SAMFA will pay for you to attend if you don't already have one.

6) Purchase food (buns, hot dogs, patties, condiments, drinks, chocolate bars, chips, napkins, trays, sauces etc) required for concessions and stored in Riel trailer. Ensure that the BBQ is in working order.

8) Criminal Checks necessary due to $ handling aspects.

9) Make it fun and enjoyable for all involved. Must be a very personable individual. Able to adapt to all situations in a calm and efficient manner. Ambassador for SAMFA.
