U16 Tackle (formerly Bantam)

U16 Tackle Football

Eligibility: 

Players turning 13, 14, or 15 in the calendar year (players must not be entering grade 10 in the calendar year). Open to all genders!

Tackle Football:

In this division, the focus is on safe contact and starting more position-specific skill development. Players will continue to learn football fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship as they develop into young athletes.

Gameplay: 9-a-side football and/or 12-a-side football.

Season: 2-week pre-season camp in June; regular season runs from August to the end of October. Provincial play continues into November

Practices: Three times per week on the field, some off-the-field film review is also required, days TBA

Games: One game per week
